Inspired by Chris’s journey. Built to stand beside many.
Chris’s journey through a rare and aggressive cancer inspired the Bay Area Warriors Foundation. Christopher “Chris” Nazir passed away in September 2024, and his friends and family carried forward his spirit of showing up for others.
Long before the Foundation existed, Chris, his family and his closest friends were already known among themselves as “the Warriors.” After his passing, the name took on a deeper meaning: a commitment to carry forward his friendship, generosity and resilience by standing alongside others fighting their own battles.
